I LOVE saving money (blog post on that coming soon) and I've recently come across two deals that I wanted to pass along.
I've never personally used this site, but I have talked to others that have and checked out the press section on their website. It looks too good to be true, but I think it's legit. I mean, it shows them on the Today Show. It's gotta be for real!
You go on the site to buy gift cards at a discounted price. For example, a $25 gift card is $10. But, until the 31st you can get their $10 gift card for 80% off ($2) by entering the code NAPKIN.
Now, there are some restrictions like a minimum food purchase, certain days and not covering alcohol, but you will still be saving a lot on the overall experience.
The second is
It's a 30% off coupon at GAP, Banana and Old Navy as well as their outlets from today until August 2nd. And, the great part is, you can use it more than once.
Happy eating and shopping!

Hey Allison! I stalk blogs, so don't be alarmed. But we use the restaurant coupons and they are great. HOWEVER, you really need to read the fine print and make sure it's worth it. Getting them at your fav places may not really save you any money - for example: If you normally go and get an entree each for $10, well then that's only $20...so to use the coupons, you would have to buy something you don't normally need/want. Since drinks, tax and tip aren't included, you just need to make sure it's worth it. We typically use them to check out new restaurants in town - that way we don't feel guilty about getting appetizers and entrees and not eating it all. You know??
I'm glad to hear you say that because that's kind of how we bought them. I read the fine print AND called them! haha! We bought a couple where the food and drink min is over a hundred bucks, but the 75 dollar gift card was only 4 dollars or so, so we'd just see it as getting about 40% - 50% off as a special occasion-type place where we would go all out, like you're saying.
Thanks for reinforcing what I was thinking!!!
