Blythe's First Fiesta

We had oh so much fun this past weekend celebrating this little girl's first birthday. I think Ryan and I are both recovering a little bit from the shock that this year went by so quickly.

I had fun being in craft mode and putting together decorations for the par-tay.

What made Blythe's fiesta so special to us were the people that came to help us celebrate- family, old friends, and new friends... We had a blast!

Daddy Love

Dads and their little girls have such a special bond. I can see that connection grow more and more each day with Ryan and Blythe. We are super fortunate that when Ryan isn't traveling, he works from home. I love that he gets that extra time to sneak glimpses of Blythe throughout the day as we run from place to place.

Ryan is an amazing Dad in so many ways- calm, patient, fun, silly. He adores his little girl and she him.

Watching these two over the years is going to be one of the greatest joys of my life.

still takes a morning and afternoon nap and sleeps 12-13 hours at night
