Dress Up

I'm trying to be better about regular blogging.  Yay!  Here's a quick update on our fam.

We took Blythe to her very first Texas Aggie football game.  The Ags took on the LSU Tigers, and Ryan has a lot of family and family friends from Louisiana, so this was a special game for us.  B had an absolute blast.  I think we were both shocked at how much she loved the crowd and the energy in the stadium.

We are very, very blessed to have some incredibly close friendships here in Austin.  Even though we've only been here 9 years, we feel like our roots here are deep.
Last weekend our friends and number one babysitters, Taylor and Rebecca, asked Blythe to be the flower girl in their wedding.  Taylor's sister is TRog one of my besties/ roommates from college.  We adore the entire Rogers family, so this was really special for us.

Here is Blythe's practice run down the aisle at the rehearsal...  I had high hopes after this.
And they're off!!!  Knox was the ring bearer (hello, perfect!)

Oh, and a HUGE bonus....  Ryan officiated the ceremony, so the kiddos ran straight down the aisle to him.  I know I'm biased, but I thought they were adorable.

Blythe with the STUNNING bride and groom.
 And, last but not least....
Stacie called me about (and I'm not exaggerating) 8 months ago to ask if she wanted her mom to make Blythe a Dorothy costume to match with Knox's scarecrow costume.  Clearly I said YES!  Little did we know when she made that call that, not only would they have adorable costumes, but that we would be staying at their house and taking care of Knox for a few days while they were in the hospital having a BABY!  Baby Isla, Knox's little sister, is here!  Pictures coming soon.  The mini Wizard of Oz cast loved the trick or treating.  When we couldn't open the candy fast enough, they just ate right threw the wrapper.  Yep.

Ryan and I closed on our new house last week and will start the move-in process this weekend.  We are soooooo excited!!!  We first looked at this house in May, so we are thrilled that our nesting date is near.
